About Me

I am a doctoral student in Communication Science & Disorders at Florida State University, supported by the TP-3 training grant. My research investigates the intersection of psycholinguistics, speech-language pathology, and computational linguistics, with a focus on how multilingual children develop morphological awareness and literacy skills.

As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, I provide clinical services in early childhood settings and collaborate with families and educators to design culturally responsive, evidence-based interventions.

My academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific and dual bachelor's degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Cognitive Science and Linguistics. This interdisciplinary training helps me combine clinical insight with computational and corpus linguistics methods.

Methodologically, I use traditional psycholinguistic approaches alongside modern computational tools—LLMs and advanced statistical software—to analyze narrative data and inform implementation science practices for more effective, culturally responsive interventions.

Beyond research and clinical work, I'm committed to equity and inclusion; I aim to translate rigorous science into impactful, accessible practices for children and families.

Speech-language pathologist diagnostician, case management, and preschool intake for Early Steps and Child Find program in Head Start program. Leading comprehensive speech and language evaluations for incoming and current preschoolers while collaborating closely with families and educators to identify early communication needs and advocate for developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive support.
